
Paul Place, Managing Consultant for Clayton Real Estate in Platteville was recently honored by the Realtors Association of South Central Wisconsin ( RASCW) with the Cindy Strange Memorial "Pay It Forward" award at the RASCW Awards and Installation banquet. As part of the award, Paul received a gift of $ 3000 which he could donate to the charity of his choice. Paul chose to donate $ 1500 to the Homeless Shelter at the Lutheran Church of Peace of Platteville and $ 1500 to the Platteville Food Pantry. Also at the Awards and Installation banquet, Paul was installed as the 2013 Vice President of RASCW.

Paul Place of Clayton Real Estate in Platteville and the 2013 Vice President of the Realtors Association of South Central Wisconsin (RASCW) recently attended Realtor and Government Day in Madison. During this event, Mr. Place along with Realtors from across the state met with their area legislators to discuss real estate related issues that are currently in front of the legislature. Mr. Place met with several legislators from the 9 county RASCW area which includes Grant, Iowa and Lafayette Counties.
Paul Place of Clayton Real Estate in Platteville has recently been named to the Board of Directors of the Realtors Association of Southcentral Wisconsin ( RASCW) Housing Foundation. The Housing Foundation provides payment deferred low interest down payment and closing costs assistance loans to qualified home buyers in Southcentral Wisconsin, which includes Grant, Iowa and Lafayette Counties. MICHAEL KNAUTZ ATTENDS SPECIALIZED LISTING COURSE FOR RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE SPECIALISTS
Michael Knautz of Clayton Real Estate in Platteville has completed a highly specialized course in new skills involved in obtaining and servicing real estate listings, conducted by the COUNCIL OF RESIDENTIAL SPECIALISTS of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS.
The class was conducted at the education center at the WISCONSIN REALTORS ASSOCIATION offices in Madison and is one of the required courses that must be taken by real estate consultants in order to qualify for the coveted Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation.
The course included techniques in seller counseling, pricing, various client servicing activities, marketing techniques and other programs designed to close sales on residential properties.
According to Mr. Knautz, " Today's real estate market is more complex than ever before and the listing process has become the key in the movement of residential properties." " This course provided me with new input to enable me to serve both buyers and sellers of residences more effectively."
Certified Residential Specialist Courses are presented in various cities throughout the United States in conjunction with the COUNCIL OF RESIDENTIAL SPECIALISTS an affiliate of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS.
